1. General Information

Bahrul Ilmi: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Agama Islam STAI Minhajul Haq publishes original research articles and literature review papers in the field of Islamic Religious Education. Manuscripts submitted must be original, have not been published previously, and are not under consideration by other journals.

2. Scope of Articles

The journal accepts manuscripts related to, but not limited to:

  • Islamic Religious Education

  • Curriculum and Instruction in Islamic Education

  • Teaching and Learning of Islamic Studies

  • Islamic Educational Thought and Philosophy

  • Assessment and Evaluation in Islamic Education

  • Teacher Professional Development

  • Character and Moral Education (Akhlak)

  • Islamic Educational Management

  • Integration of Islamic Values in Education

  • Contemporary Issues in Islamic Education

3. Language

Manuscripts may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English, using clear, academic, and grammatically correct language.

4. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be prepared in the following order:

  1. Title
    Concise, specific, and informative (maximum 15 words).

  2. Author(s) Name(s)
    Full name without academic titles, followed by institutional affiliation and email address.

  3. Abstract
    Written in Bahasa Indonesia and English, 150–250 words, containing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

  4. Keywords
    3–5 keywords that represent the main topics of the article.

  5. Introduction
    Background of the study, research problems, objectives, and significance of the study.

  6. Literature Review (if applicable)

  7. Research Method
    Research design, data sources, data collection techniques, and data analysis.

  8. Results and Discussion

  9. Conclusion

  10. References

5. Formatting Requirements

  • Paper size: A4

  • Margins: 2.5 cm (all sides)

  • Font: Garamond

  • Font size: 14 pt (main text), 10 pt (footnotes if any)

  • Line spacing: 1.5

  • Length: 6,000–8,000 words including references

6. Citation and References

  • Citation style: APA Style (latest edition)

  • References should consist of at least 80% primary sources (journals, proceedings) published within the last 10 years.

  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

7. Plagiarism Policy

All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software. The maximum similarity index allowed is 25%, excluding references and quotations.

8. Peer Review Process

All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. The editorial board reserves the right to accept, revise, or reject manuscripts based on reviewers’ recommendations.

9. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal’s Open Journal System (OJS). Authors are required to register and follow the submission steps provided on the journal website.

10. Copyright and License

Authors retain copyright of their work. Published articles are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution.
